From an article in today's New York Times by Scott Shane, I found out that current and former intelligence officers and some academic experts are meeting to see of they can come up with a code of ethics or an international association to study the subject. Intelligence ethics, although it might sound a bit contradictory, is an emerging field. And given the many slip ups that are being published these days, it would be reassuring to know that the intelligence community does share a code of ethics. It would be even better if they could respect the human rights declaration.
