About this blog

  • Thinking Ethics was a project launched in Geneva to foster the debate about ethics. A few friends, fed up with only reading about abuses in the media, decided to hold a forward-looking seminar on five subjects: ethics and performance, ethics and knowledge, ethics and consciousness, ethics and disobedience and ethics in real time. If moral has to do with right and wrong, then ethics is its application in society. We believe that people need to talk about the subject to determine the level of ethics they want. The book Thinking Ethics, a result of the seminar, is to start the discussion. This blog is a contribution to the conversation.

Morning Beth!

I have been present in the patent business over a certain time. Suddenly over a year ago a tsunami of Spams from indian, chinese, korean name the lot appeared on the screen. I contacted a few and asked for information on the way they work etc. mostly regarding state of the art research. The spams stopped. Certain services can only be done on a person to person perspective. This is often forgotten.

Nice post! Offshore outsourcing is the practice of hiring an external organization to perform some business functions in a country other than the one where the product or service will be sold or consumed. Anyway, thanks for sharing this post. Looking forward for your next post.

Offshore outsourcing is really reducing work loads from the bigger companies by less time consumption along with much more affordabilty. At the same time it is creating good job environments for small and medium scale industries.
